INTERNATIONALIZATIONFrom our development and manufacturing centres in Irun, the products of Kron SL have been installed in lifting systems in many countries in Europe, America, Asia and Oceania. This has been possible because the activity in the exterior has always been essential for us, establishing relationships with suppliers and customers which permit ourselves to speed up the development of new products and markets. Prominently, the strategic relationship since 2002 with the Belgium multinational Bekaert has played a key role in the development of innovative products and their internationalization. Regarding the more purely commercial activity abroad, we must highlight our continued presence in the main international fairs of the lifting industry (Interlift- Augsburg, Lift Italia- Milan, World & Escalator Expo, Lift- Russia, Eurolift, Elevcon, etc). Our relationship model with the international markets is flexible. In some cases we have exclusive relationships (regions or countries) with customers and/or distributors. In most territories we do not establish exclusive relationships and conduct our business directly, or through local representatives. In Kron SL we have increased our international activity year by year. This increase has allowed us to maintain our sales, in the last years in which the local lifting market is suffering a strong pullback. The activity of Kron SL in the world has allowed us to gain experience in the whole process of internationalization in a variety of markets. Therefore, our customers trust us and our products to meet the demands of safety and quality, in markets with very different characteristics.
