SECURITY BRAKES
SECURITY BRAKE UPWARDS (EN81-1+A3, 9.10)

This is a security brake in upwards direction that actuates on the sheave, designed for those old installations where it is not possible to adapt any other type of device in order to comply with the European norm EN81-1+A3, paragraph 9.10.

This is a redundant brake, this means the mechanical parts involved in the braking are double (EN81-1+A3, paragraph 12.4.2.1).

This brake is patented and certified by the TÜV.
